Paul Simon doing 'Live From Here with Chris Thile' makeup date (with Anais Mitchell)
Paul Simon was scheduled to appear on the October 26 edition of Live From Here with Chris Thile at Town Hall, alongside Mavis Staples, Rachael Price, Janeane Garofalo, Brian Platzer, and Rachel & Vilray, but wound up cancelling because of a “very bad cold” he’d come down with. He’s now rescheduled the appearance, and will now appear on the Saturday, November 23 edition of the show, at the same venue. Anaïs Mitchell, Ryan Hamilton, and Holly Laurent are also scheduled to appear, and tickets are still on sale.
There are three other currently scheduled Live From Here dates besides the 11/23 show with Paul Simon: November 16 with Big Thief, Aoife O’Donovan, Marina Franklin, and recent additions They Might Be Giants (tickets); December 7 with Pixies, Crooked Still, Aoife O’Donovan, and Tom Papa (tickets); and December 14 with Sara Bareilles, Sarah Jarosz, Maria Bamford, and Dave Hill (tickets).
