Paul Simon, Mavis Staples & Richard Thompson added to Joan Baez's 75th birthday show at Beacon Theatre

Folk veteran Joan Baez recently announced a 75th birthday show happening at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on January 27 with a very impressive list of guests, and that list just got even more impressive. Paul Simon, Mavis Staples and Richard Thompson were added to the lineup, which already includes Emmylou Harris, Judy Collins, Jackson Browne, Indigo Girls and many more. Tickets are still available. Joan Baez also added several other dates, which are listed below.

Mavis Staples just announced a new album with original songs written by Nick Cave, Neko Case, Justin Vernon, tUnE-yArDs and more. And this show explains the absence of a NYC date on her tour.
