Pavo Pavo ready debut LP for Bella Union (listen), playing free Rough Trade show tonight, touring Europe

Brooklyn experimental pop act Pavo Pavo travel in the same circles as San Fermin, Here We Go Magic, Roomful of Teeth, and Dave Longstreth, employing a particuarly airy sense of melody and harmony. The band’s debut album, Young Narrator In The Breakers, will be released November 11 via Bella Union and you can check out a few songs off of the album, including the buoyant “Ruby (Let’s Buy the Bike)” which premieres in this post, below.

Pavo Pavo will celebrate their debut LP’s release just a little early, playing a free show Brookln’s Rough Trade tonight (11/1). It’s an early show (6:30 PM) and you’ll be able to snag the album tonight as well. After that they’ll head to Iceland Airwaves festival, and then a European tour. They’l then play Baby’s All Right on November 30 with Hideout (tickets). All dates are listed below.
