Peter Murphy adds David Bowie tribute show in San Francisco to tour

Peter Murphy is currently on his The Ruby Tour: 40 Years of Bauhaus which features David J on bass, and hits NYC on Valentine’s Day at Terminal 5 (tickets). After the Bauhaus anniversary tour, he’s got a residency at The Chapel in San Francisco in March where he’ll be playing his solo albums, and nights of Bauhaus, in full. He’s just added one more show to that residency which will be a tribute to David Bowie on March 26 where he’ll play selected songs from the Bowie catalog. Says Murphy, “Now that all and sundry have fallen off the David Bowie tribute band wagon, I thought I’d do my own.” Tickets for the Bowie tribute go on sale today at 2 PM Pacific.
