Peter Murphy announces rescheduled NYC Bowie, Bauhaus & greatest hits solo shows

40 Years of Bauhaus Ruby Celebration with Peter Murphy and David J at Terminal 5
Peter Murphy @ T5 earlier this year (more by Ester Segretto)

Peter Murphy‘s 12-show August run at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge was cut short after the Bauhaus singer suffered a heart attack on August 13. On the mend with a “full recovery” expected, he’s now announced the rescheduled shows for January: his “Greatest Hits” night is now 1/20, the “Mr. Moonlight” Bauhaus set is 1/21 and his two Bowie tribute nights are 1/23 and 1/24. UPDATE: tickets to all four shows are available. Previously purchased tickets will be honored and refunds are available at point of purchase.

These shows are a bit overshadowed by the news that the original lineup of Bauhaus (Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J, Kevin Haskins) are getting back together for an L.A. show right after Halloween (and hopefully more). Tickets for that show — Hollywood Palladium on November 3 — go on sale this Friday the 13th at 10 AM Pacific.
