Peter Murphy played Bauhaus at Le Poisson Rouge residency (pics, setlist, video)

Peter Murphy is in the middle of a run of shows at Le Poisson Rouge, dates which were rescheduled from August when his 12-night residency was cut short after he suffered a heart attack midway through. Following Monday’s “Greatest Hits” show, Murphy played an all-Bauhaus set on Tuesday night (1/21).

Murphy was a little under the weather and the actual setlist was shorter than the printed setlist, but he did play “In the Flat Field,” “She’s in Parties,” “Stigmata Martyr, “Dark Entries,” “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” and more, finishing with the cover of Dead Can Dance’s “Severance.” You can check out the setlist for Tuesday (and Monday) below, and pics from the night — including opener Vinsantos — are in the gallery above.

The LPR residency wraps up with two nights of Bowie tributes on Thursday (tickets) and Friday (sold out). Peter will be back this summer with Bauhaus to play Radio City Music Hall on June 26 (tickets).
