Pharrell getting N.E.R.D. back together for new Spongebob movie soundtrack (listen to new song "Squeeze Me")

Perhaps you’ve noticed that Pharrell has been having a huge moment over the past year or two, thanks to “Get Lucky,” “Happy,” “Blurred Lines” and whatever else the man with the peculiar taste in hats has been up to. He hasn’t hesitated to remind everyone that he’s been at it for years though, bringing out Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nelly and more at Coachella to perform the massive hits he produced for them in the early 2000s, and bringing out the members of his long-running group N.E.R.D. at Odd Future’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.

Now he’s making new music with N.E.R.D. too, including three songs for the soundtrack of the upcoming Spongebob movie, The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The movie comes out February 6, and will feature new N.E.R.D. songs “Squeeze Me,” “Patrick Star,” and “Sandy Squirrel,” the first of which you can now stream below via Spotify.
