Phil Lesh adds 3rd Memorial Day Weekend show w/ Warren Haynes; Gov't Mule touring

The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh already announced two Phil & Friends shows for Memorial Day weekend at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, and now he added a third. This one happens May 27 with Warren Haynes, John Medeski, Eric Krasno and Tony Leone joining him. Tickets go on sale Friday (4/8) at noon.

The 5/28 and 5/29 shows have Jerry Garcia Band’s Melvin Seals instead of John Medeski. 5/28 is sold out but some tickets for 5/29 are still available. Phil also has upcoming shows at his California stomping grounds, Terrapin Crossroads.

Warren Haynes also has his Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration tour coming up, which hits Central Park on August 8 (tickets). Haynes’ band Gov’t Mule also just announced a tour which doesn’t hit NYC but does it Asbury Park on August 12 at the Stone Pony Summer Stage. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday at noon with Live Nation/Music Geeks/venue presales starting Thursday (4/7) at 10 AM (password = PONY). They also play Mountain Jam.
