Phoebe Bridgers doing livestreamed show on Friday

While it’s not quite a substitute for going to a concert in person, there have been lots of livestreams to watch while staying home as the coronavirus pandemic continues. Here’s another one: Phoebe Bridgers is performing on Pitchfork’s Instagram on Friday, April 10 at 4 PM ET.

We’re hoping to hear Phoebe do her first new solo song since 2017, “Garden Song,” or maybe even other new material… or her Conor Oberst cover… or even a solo take on “Shallow”!?

UPDATE: Phoebe actually is releasing a new song on Thursday (4/9); it premieres at 10 AM ET on SiriusXM (which is free to try through May 15). Stay tuned for more on that.

Meanwhile, Phoebe recently sang with The 1975 on their new single “Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America.” She also appears, along with her boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, on Hayley Williams’ recent track “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris.” And even more recently, Hayley Williams covered one of Phoebe’s tracks, “Smoke Signals.”
