San Diego one-man industrial-doom project Author & Punisher, who recently released album Melk En Honing, brought his tour with Portland’s Muscle and Marrow to NYC on November 3 for a show at Saint Vitus. A&P is known for his crazy-looking, custom synth rig that includes some things that look straight out of shop class, and a cool / scary facemask. It’s as imposing as his music. Local act Statiqbloom opened, forming a bill with a lot of stylistic overlap between bands. Pictures from the whole night, plus a stream of Melk En Honing, are in this post.
