pics: MorMor @ Baby's All Right
Toronto’s MorMor has been on the rise thanks to the unique, soulful, driving indie rock of his great 2018 EP Heaven’s Only Wistful and the two singles that followed, “Pass The Hours” and “Outside.” We’re still waiting on the news of his debut album, but in the meantime he’s on tour now and just played a packed, sold-out Brooklyn show at Baby’s All Right on Friday (4/19).
He played a good chunk of the songs he has released so far, and he brought his own lights which had him often shadowed and dimly lit, giving the songs an extra mysterious quality. He was also joined by a solid band, who did a great job of fleshing out the songs. He didn’t say much on stage except to introduce the band and say thanks, letting the music speak for it self. duendita opened, and pictures are in the gallery above.
