Black Lips‘ new album, Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?, was released on Friday, May 5 and the band celebrated that same day at NYC’s Webster Hall. The album’s producer, Sean Lennon, joined the band for a few songs as well.

The Moonlandingz — aka Lias from Fat White Family’s collaboration with Eccentronic Research Counvil — were added to the bill last minute and fit in well with the debaucherous spirit of the evening. (Lennon was also a co-producer of their LP.) The night began with Brooklyn’s Surfbort, who we didn’t get pictures of, but you can check out lots from Black Lips and Moonlandingz in the gallery above.

You can catch The Moonlandingz this week in NYC when they play Rough Trade on Thursday (5/11) with Uni (featuring members of The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger and NY Dolls). Tickets are still available.

You can listen to Black Lips’ Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?, which features Yoko Ono and Saul from Fat White Family, below.
