Pink Frost released a video from new LP (watch it)

Pink Frost

We first wrote about Chicago’s Pink Frost on BV Chicago when they released the single “Ruins” from their new LP, Sundowner. The song is a riffy rocker with a similar kind of Smashing Pumpkins worship that Kylesa had on their new album, and a bold change in direction from the lighter shoegaze Pink Frost were making under the name Apteka.

Sundowner came out this past September, and while the album has tons of other riff-heavy jams, it hasn’t entirely abandoned their roots. The newest single, “The Difference,” is poppy, dreamy shoegaze, though it’s still the kind of shoegaze that wouldn’t have come out until after Billy Corgan infiltrated the genre. That song just got an appropriately hazy video treatment, which makes its premiere in this post. Shot and directed by Drew Reynolds. Check it out below.

Pink Frost’s only upcoming date at the moment is a hometown show on Halloween (10/31) with Sleepy Sun and The Cairo Gang.
