Piss Test attack sexism in the music industry on "Talkin' Shit" (listen)

Portland punks Piss Test are co-fronted by married couple Samantha Gladu and former Red Dons member Zach Brooks, and their lineup is rounded out by another ex-Red Dons member, Rodrigo Diaz. They’re releasing LP II on May 5 via Dirt Cult Records (pre-order), and the record is a killer dose of raw, garagey punk with a noticeable ’80s SoCal hardcore influence. We’re premiering “Talkin’ Shit,” a song about misjudging women in the music scene with Samantha Gladu taking the lead. Here’s a sample lyric: “I’m not a merch girl, I’m not a groupie, I won’t fuck these losers, but I’ll smash your head.” The song rips, and you can hear it below.

Right now, Piss Test’s only upcoming show is a cancer benefit show in their hometown on album release day.
