Pitchfork already published list of the top 20 rap albums of 2016 and the 25 best music videos, and now they’ve published one for the 20 Best Pop and R&B Albums of 2016. They mention in the intro that “it’s fair to say that in 2016, the lines between these spheres (and others) were blurrier than ever.” That’s true, and it’s how Olga Bell and Beyonce can end up on a list highlighting the same genre of music.
