PJ Harvey began her two-night stand at Terminal 5 (pics, videos, setlist)

PJ Harvey returned this year with her very good The Hope Six Demolition Project, the followup to her 2011 late-career reinvention Let England Shake. Her very short tour in support of it hit NYC last night (8/15) for her first of two shows at Terminal 5. PJ and her band — Mick Harvey, Alain Johannes and John Parrish — played every song on the new album, plus a few off Let England Shake and some classics like “To Bring You My Love,” “Down by the Water,” “Working for the Man,” and “50ft Queenie.” Check out the full setlist and some videos below. Pictures of the show are in the gallery above.
Polly Jean does it again at T5 tonight (8/16), which is sold out.
every single time I see PJ Harvey – I'm like – that's the best show I've ever seen!

Man watching PJ Harvey vibe out on her own plane in the middle of the controlled chaos of a ten-piece band was fucking amazing
