Polyenso

Polyenso releasing new EP, touring (stream "Bastard")

Polyenso emerged back in 2012 out of the ashes of post-hardcore band Oceana, who began going in a more indie rock direction on their 2010 Clean Head EP and then took a deep dive in that direction when the members shifted their focus to Polyenso. With two albums and EP under their belts, Polyenso are set to release another new EP, Year of the Dog, on January 18 via Other People Records (pre-order). We’re premiering the song “Bastard” from that EP. Musically, you can hear hints of Radiohead, Age of Adz-era Sufjan Stevens, or the new Foxing album, and lyrically the band say the song is about trying not to lose hope under the Trump administration. It’s a promising taste of the EP, and you can check it out below.

Polyenso are also touring with Sea Cycles, Millennium Youth and FR33DBACK, beginning with a couple shows in their home state and wrapping up at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on January 27 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
