Priests played Elsewhere with Gurr & Ziemba (pics, setlist)

DC band Priests recently released their ambitious new album, The Seduction of Kansas, and celebrated on Tuesday night (4/17) at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere. The band played the lion’s share of the new record and, despite it only being out for a week or so, the crowd took to it quickly, though the energy rose even higher with older favorites like “JJ” and “Nothing Feels Natural.” Setlist from the show is below.

Opening the night were Berlin band Gurr, who were making their NYC live debut, and Brooklynites Ziemba who misted the crowd with a signature scented oil (which you could buy at the merch table). Pictures from their set and the whole night are in the gallery above. Priests’ tour hits Boston on Thursday and Montreal on Friday.
