Primus announce new album, expand tour, playing NYC on Halloween

Primus will release their ninth album, The Desaturating Seven, on September 29 via ATO. It’s the followup to 2014’s Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble and it’s the first album with the classic lineup of Les Claypool, Larry LaLonde, and Tim Alexander since 1995’s Tales from the Punchbowl. Primus are on tour with Clutch now, having just played Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Summer Stage on Friday (7/28). (Pictures of that show coming soon.) They’ve also added many more tour dates for the fall.

The fall run includes shows in Port Chester on October 29 at the Capitol Theatre and NYC on Halloween at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets for the Cap and BK Steel will be on sale soon. All dates are listed below.
