Princess Nokia releases new single on Rough Trade Records, expands tour

New York rapper Princess Nokia returned today with a new single on Rough Trade Records, “G.O.A.T,” her first release since last year’s 1992 mixtape. The song was produced by Wally West and it comes with a video co-directed by Princess Nolia and Milah Libin. Watch below.

Having played a free House of Vans show with The Drums earlier this month, Princess Nokia has a bunch of other tour dates coming up and just added more. In NYC, she plays a free SummerStage/Latin American Music Festival show on July 12 in Central Park with Mon Laferte and ÌFÉ. She also plays Afropunk Festival at Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park on August 26 & 27 (tickets), and a just-added headlining show at the new Villain on September 29 (307 Kent Ave) (tickets).
