Princess Nokia, Spice Girl Melanie C & more playing PrideFest 2019

NYC’s massive month-long celebration of WorldPride, the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, wraps up in a big way with the 2019 Pride March, which steps off at noon on Sunday, June 30. Starting at 11 AM on the same day is the annual PrideFest street fair, which moves to a new location this year, along 4th Ave between Union Square and Astor Place. Along with vendors, food trucks, a kids space featuring Drag Queen Story Hour, a Mural Market, and more, PrideFest will feature an entertainment stage, headlined by excellent NYC rapper Princess Nokia. Also set to perform are Spice Girl Melanie C. with drag collective Sink the Pink, Lauren Jauregui, and The Veronicas.

Also happening on Sunday 6/30: Pride Island on Pier 97 with Madonna and Abel and Morabito, which is sold out, and the World Pride Closing Ceremony in Times Square with Melissa Etheridge, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, MNEK and more. Free registration is sold out, but some tickets are on sale.
