Propagandhi Victory Lap

Propagandhi releasing 'Victory Lap,' touring with Iron Chic

Canadian political punk vets Propagandhi will release their first album in five years, Victory Lap, on September 29 via Epitaph (preorder). It’s the followup to 2012’s Failed States, and it’s their first album with new guitarist Sulynn Hago, who replaced longtime guitarist David Guillas (who does appear on several Victory Lap songs). The lead single is the title track, a crisply-recorded dose of the band’s metallic punk that’s as fired-up as you’d expect a Propagandhi song in 2017 to be. Listen below.

The band will also be going on tour across North America in support of the new album, alongside various opening bands, including Iron Chic, RVIVR, and others.

The run with Iron Chic will be making a stop at NYC’s Warsaw on October 20 with additional support from Heartsounds. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (7/28) at noon. All dates are listed below.

Iron Chic still have their SideOneDummy debut on the way, and we’re hoping to hear more about that soon.
