Psychic TV announce new LP 'Alienist' & reissue of 'Force the Hand of Chance,' touring
Psychic TV will release new album Alienist on August 18 via Angry Love Productions. The LP features two originals as well as covers of Harry Nilsson’s “Jump into the Fire” (which LCD Soundsystem has covered) and The Creation’s “How Does It Feel” which is a childhood favorite of P-TV leader Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. Meanwhile, P-TV will also reissue their 1982 debut studio album, Force The Hand Of Chance, which will be the first time it’s available on vinyl in 25 years. Artwork and tracklist for both are below.
Psychic TV have also announced more live dates. In addition to the live score to Derek Jarman’s In the Shadow of the Sun at the Rubin Museum on July 15, they’ll play Music Hall of Williamsburg on September 16. Tickets for MHOW are currently on AmEx presale and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 24 at noon.
