Psycho Las Vegas 2019 Pool Party pics & video (CoC, Lucifer, Primitive Man, more)

Psycho Las Vegas kicked off on Thursday (8/15) with the Psycho Swim pre-party, an outdoor show at one of the many pools at the Mandalay Bay casino complex in Las Vegas. The one-stage show opened at noon and ran until 10:30pm, and featured a great lineup of heavy bands including Corrosion of Conformity, Lucifer, Danava, Primitive Man, ASG, Howling Giant, Idle Hands, and Thrown Into Exile.

There was plenty of room for people to watch (and sometimes mosh) in front of the stage, with many choosing to view the stage from the pool (occasional splash moshing included). Outfits ranged from battle jackets to bikinis. Check out pictures of the whole afternoon in the gallery above, including the “Rhythms and Riffs Lounge,” which featured Monophonics, Yakuza and more after Psycho Swim wrapped up, and a few fan-taken video clips below.

Psycho Las Vegas continues all weekend on four stages at Mandalay Bay with Opeth, Electric Wizard, The Misfits, and many more. Follow @BrooklynVegan and @InvisibleOranges on Instagram for real time coverage, and stay tuned for more galleries here and on IO.
