Psycho Las Vegas full 2020 lineup: Mercyful Fate, Danzig II, Flaming Lips, Curl Up and Die, Katatonia, much more

Psycho Las Vegas had been gradually rolling out its 2020 lineup, and now the whole thing is here.

One very exciting new addition is the first-announced US reunion show (and US exclusive for 2020) for Mercyful Fate, who are back for their first shows in 20+ years. It’s also got Danzig (whose Misfits played last year and who played Danzig III at the fest in 2018) playing Danzig II: Lucifuge this time. There’s also a reunion from ’90s Orange County metalcore band Adamantium, and a rare US show from Czech black metallers Cult of Fire (who are gearing up for the new double album Moksha / Nirvana this year).

But wait, there’s more. Other new additions include The Flaming Lips, Curl Up and Die, HEALTH, Obituary, Katatonia (who also announced a new album today), TSOL, Crowbar, Exhorder, Wolves In The Throne Room, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Repulsion, Immolation, Intronaut, Khemmis, Creeping Death, Midnight, Wino, Zola Jesus, Lower Dens, Drab Majesty, King Dude, Death By Stereo, Profanatica, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fatso Jetson, Paul Cauthen, Amigo the Devil, Black Joe Lewis, Mothership, Guantanamo Baywatch, Dengue Fever, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Toke, Foie Gras, Flavor Crystals, Silvertomb (Kenny and Johnny of Type O Negative’s band), Lord Buffalo, Warish, Alms, Relaxer, Black Sabbitch, Hippie Death Cult, Vaelmyst, Mother Mercury, DJ Scott Seltzer and the return of Two Minutes to Late Night.

The new additions join the already-stacked lineup of Emperor (first US show in years), Down (25th anniversary of NOLA), At the Gates (25th anniversary of Slaughter of the Soul), Poison the Well (20th anniversary of The Opposite of December), the US debut of Argentinian heavy psych band Mephistofeles, Watain, Satyricon, Blue Oyster Cult, Thursday, Pinback, Boysetsfire, Ty Segall, Warpaint, Mayhem, Blonde Redhead, Ulver, Boris, Cursive, Brutus, Mgla, This Will Destroy You, Kaelan Mikla, Blackwater Holylight, and Bömbers (Abbath’s Motorhead tribute band).

Blackwater Holylight also play the Psycho Swim pre-party, which goes down the day before the festival (8/13) at the Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay and also features Old Man Gloom, Elder, Polyrhythmics, Death Valley Girls, The Skull, Here Lies Man, and DJ Scott Seltzer.

The main fest happens August 14-16 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tickets for both Psycho Las Vegas and Psycho Swim are on sale now. Check out the full lineup below:
