Public Image Ltd brought their 40th anniversary tour to Brooklyn Steel (pics, setlist)

John Lydon brought the Public Image Ltd 40th Anniversary “The Image is Rotten” celebration to NYC on Monday (10/15) for a show at Brooklyn Steel. Opening with “Deeper Water” off 2012’s This is PiL, the current lineup of the band — which includes guitarist Lu Edmonds (who also played bouzouki), drummer Bruce Smith, and bassist Scott Firth — pulled from throughout PiL’s career, including “Death Disco,” “The Body,” “Warrior,” “This is Not a Love Song,” “Rise,” “Public Image,” and even “Open Up,” which was John Lydon’s collaboration with Leftfield.
