Pujol shares new song from 'KLUDGE,' expands tour, including free Rough Trade in-store & show at DbA (updated dates)

As mentioned, Pujol‘s new album, KLUDGE will be out May 20 via Saddle Creek. It’s a fairly hi-fi affair for this Nashville garage rocker, but I wouldn’t call it slick (greasy maybe) and there are some terrific songs on it. If you like Reatards style rock, it’s worth checking out. You can stream “Dark Haired Suitor” from the album, along with the previously released “Pitch Black” and “Small World” below.

When we last posted, Pujol only had a few tour dates scheduled, including NYC at Mercury Lounge on May 24 (tickets). Since then a full tour has blossomed with two more NYC shows. Pujol will play Death by Audio on May 23 with Toronto’s Sam Coffey & the Iron Lungs, plus Scully and Jupiter Boys. They’ll also play a free matinee in-store at Rough Trade on Saturday, May 24 (same day as their Merc show) at 2 PM.
