Pulp, Oasis, Ash, Leftfield, OMD, Ariel Pink & more added to interactive Twitter listening party lineup

The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess came up with the cool idea for while we’re all cooped up at home, to have collective online listening parties for classic indie and alternative albums, where the bands and artists who made them offer commentary and anecdotes and answer fan questions via Twitter while listening. They’ve been a hit so far and Tim’s now extended it through May at least, and has added a lot more to the schedule, including Pulp‘s Different Class (4/12), OMD‘s Architecture & MoralityAsh‘s 1977 (4/15), The Coral‘s self-titled album (4/18), Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti‘s Before Today (4/20), OasisBe Here Now (4/23), Leftfield‘s Leftism (4/24), and Róisín Murphy‘s Overpowered (5/1).

That’s in addition to previously announced listening parties for Beta Band’s Three EPs, New Order’s Power Corruption & Lies, Suede’s Dog Man Star, The Libertines’ Up the Bracket, The Style Council’s Our Favourite Shop, Lloyd Cole & The Commotions’ Rattlesnakes, Supergrass’ I Should Coco, Chemical Brothers’ Dig Your Own Hole and more.

Today (Friday, April 10) there are three listening parties: British Sea Power‘s Open Season (3 PM Eastern), Jane Weaver’s Modern Kosmology (4 PM Eastern), and Mogwai‘s Come on Die Young (5 PM Eastern).

Check out the current Tim’s Twitter Listening Party Schedule below and head to his website for more info (like what members of the bands will be participating).
