Punch vocalist Meghan O’Neil leaves band

Fastcore rippers Punch put out their excellent third LP, They Don’t Have to Believe, about a month ago via Deathwish and brought their tour to NYC’s Death by Audio earlier this month. Today some unfortunate news came from the band though, when vocalist Meghan O’Neil posted to Facebook that she’s leaving the band:

Punch crew- I want to confirm that I, Meghan, have left Punch. Thank you all so much for your support over the years. For most of my life I have been extremely shy, and writing lyrics and performing really helped me grow as a person. Thank you to anyone who ever told me what our band and my lyrics meant to you, you all mean so much to me. Thank you.

No word yet if the band are planning on continuing on without her or if Meghan has future projects in the works. Stream They Don’t Have to Believe below…
