Puss N Boots played City Winery (pics), recording new LP at Wilco's studio

Puss N Boots, the twangy trio of Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson, and Catherine Popper, played The Loft at City Winery on Monday night (2/25). Their set included a number of new songs and the band revealed onstage that they were leaving the next day for Chicago to record their second album (and first in five years) at Wilco’s The Loft Studio. “Same Old Bullshit” was one of the new songs and they said it’s a frontrunner to be the album title as well. While in Chicago, Puss N Boots will make their Windy City live debut at Martyrs on March 4 (tickets). Maybe Bill Murray is in town? You can listen to their 2014 debut, No Fools, No Fun, below.
