Quentin Sauvé of Birds In Row releasing solo debut (stream it)
Quentin Sauvé is best known for playing bass in the great French post-hardcore band Birds In Row, but he’s also a solo artist and will release his debut album Whatever It Takes on February 1 via Skeletal Lightning (US), I Corrupt (Germany), Ideal Crash (France), and Ugly & Proud (Bulgaria). He may make heavy music with Birds In Row, but his solo stuff is much more different. These are quiet, gentle, bedroom singer/songwriter type songs fleshed out by layers of atmosphere and ambience. It’s beautiful sounding stuff, and while fans of Birds In Row should of course check this out, so should fans of like, Bon Iver and Nick Drake. We’ve got the premiere of the full album stream below. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order it.
