Quicksand & Glassjaw wrapped up tour at Brooklyn Steel (pics, setlists)
Fellow New York post-hardcore veterans Quicksand and Glassjaw wrapped up their co-headlining tour at hometown area venue Brooklyn Steel on Friday (8/3). Like at the recent Chicago show we caught, both bands mixed it up between their classic material and their respective 2017 comeback albums, Interiors (Quicksand’s first in 22 years) and Material Control (Glassjaw’s first in 15). Opening was newer New York post-hardcore band Primitive Weapons (who share members with some older ones). Pictures are in the gallery above, and Quicksand and Glassjaw’s setlists are below.
Meanwhile, Primitive Weapons’ Arty Shepherd’s band Errortype:11 will play their first NYC show in six years at Saint Vitus on 9/20 with an all-around bill of veteran New York post-hc, including Stillsuit (who once shared a member with Glassjaw), Clockwise, and Pilot to Gunner. That show is now sold out.
