Quintron & Miss Pussycat touring, showing their new puppet movie too (dates)

Quintron

In addition to making music, Quintron & Miss Pussycat are filmmakers as well, their most recent work is The Mystery in Old Bathbath, which is the latest adventure for puppet pals Trixie and the Treetrunks. Here’s the synopsis:

Something is wrong with the Happy Tree! For some reason, he can’t send out secret messages anymore. Trixie and Marsha set off to an ancient spa town to find a cure before all his branches fall off. But this town is kind of funny and the historic Art Museum of Bathbath seems to have some secrets of it’s own. And so does the drummer JJ Suede… Adventure unfolds as Trixie and Marsha try to save the Happy Tree and look at art made by thirsty people.

You can watch the trailer for The Mystery in Old Bathbath below and if you live in NYC you can go see a screening of it at Anthology Film Archives on April 18. While here, the band will also play the “Spring Fever / Smoke Lots of Weed Festival” at Secret Project Robot on — wait for it — April 20. That show also features K-Holes and Black Dice. The band will also be at Austin Psych Fest in April, if you’re going to that, and all tour dates are listed below.
