Rachel Bloom ('Crazy Ex-Girlfriend') sang "My Sex Junk" on new Bill Nye show, playing live shows

Rachel Bloom on Bill Nye Saves the World

Rachel Bloom, who came up through UCB to create hit CW musical comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (among other things), is one of the guests on the new Bill Nye Saves the World series on Netflix. The series takes on a different topic every episode, with panel discussions, music and more, and is a decidedly more adult series than his after-school PBS show Bill Nye The Science Guy was. Which brings us to “My Sex Junk,” the song Rachel sings for the “The Sexual Spectrum” episode. It’s funny, embraces transgender issues, and you can watch it below.

You can catch Rachel live as part of Shaina Taub‘s monthly Joe’s Pub residency on May 19 (tickets). She is listed as the special guest on May 19, which could mean anything from her playing one song with Shaina to a full set (we have no idea).

Rachel is also playing more proper sets as part of Packchella: The Comedy and Music Festival in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 30, and Comedy Central’s Colossal Clusterfest in San Francisco in June.

She also just debuted a new video, “Ladyboss,” which takes on inequality in the workplace and you can watch that below too:
