Radiohead share extended “Treefingers” & rare remixes to digital archive

Coachella 2017 - Weekend 2, Friday
Radiohead @ Coachella 2017 (more by Julian Bajsel)

Radiohead‘s digital archive of rarities is proving to be a treasure trove to fans looking to track down rare tracks and remixes, and the band added three new items today. There’s an extended version of Kid A‘s “Treefingers” which was previously on heard on the soundtrack to Memento, plus a remix of Bends-era b-side “Talk Show” by Bjork and Soul II Soul collaborator Nellee Hooper (used in William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet) , and “The Gloaming (The 33.33333 Remix)” which turns the Hail to the Thief track into even more minimal territory. You can stream all three below.

Speaking of Kid A, the album celebrates its 20th anniversary in October but so far there’s no word on a deluxe reissue a la the one they did for OK Computer. Meanwhile both Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and Ed O’Brien’s EOB are on tour this year.
