Rainer Maria share “Lower Worlds” off first album in 11 years

Last week, indie/emo vets Rainer Maria teased new music on Polyvinyl, and today they announced their first album in over a decade. It’s self-titled and is the followup to 2006’s Catastrophe Keeps Us Together. The first single is “Lower Worlds,” a heavier song than what we’re used to from Rainer Maria, but still with a few classic-sounding Caithlin De Marrais melodies. Listen below.

S/T is out on August 18 via Polyvinyl (pre-order).
