Rancid Trouble Maker

Rancid announce new album 'Trouble Maker' (stream a track)

Rancid have announced their ninth album, Trouble Maker, which will be out on June 9 via Hellcat/Epitaph. It’s the followup to 2014’s very enjoyable Honor Is All We Know, and like most of that album, lead single “Ghost of a Chance” sounds right out of Rancid’s early ’90s period (which is not a bad thing at all). Like several Rancid albums, it was produced by Epitaph founder/Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Listen to the new song and check out the tracklist below. Album artwork above.

As mentioned, Rancid are going on a co-headlining tour with Dropkick Murphys this year. That tour includes a run with The Bouncing Souls opening, which hits Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 4 and the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk on August 6 (tickets).

Before that tour, Rancid will tour Europe with their old Berkeley scene pals Green Day. All dates are listed below.
