Razor

Razor playing Saint Vitus behind Relapse reissues; Jag Panzer playing there too

Classic Canadian thrash outfit Razor have been back and making some moves lately, having reissued three of their classic albums with Relapse last year. Now they’re playing some shows around the US, including a mix of festivals and club dates. We already mentioned that they’ll be headlining California Deathfest in October, along with Chicago’s Metal Threat Fest in July.

Later in the summer they’ll head over to NYC for a Wendigo-presented show at Saint Vitus on August 19. It’s a rare chance to catch these guys, and support will be provided by Bat, Blood Feast and Filth Hound. Tickets for that are on sale now.

Speaking of classic metal bands playing Wendigo-presented shows at Saint Vitus, Colorado power metal vets Jag Panzer will be at the venue on July 9. It’s being billed as their only east coast date (and is currently their only scheduled date), so obviously you won’t get many other chances to see them. They’ll be joined by October 31, Power Theory, and Midnite Hellion, and tickets are on sale now.

Jag Panzer have a new album called The Deviant Chord on the way, which will be released at some point later this year.
