Real Estate announce 2020 spring tour with Palm, Meg Baird and Itasca
Real Estate have been teasing their anticipated follow-up to 2017’s In Mind, and they’ve spent most of 2019 on tour debuting new songs. Now they’ve announced a tour for spring 2020, and a press release says, “As debuted at all of the band’s shows this past October, Real Estate will be playing songs from their yet-to-be-announced next album.”
These live shows will feature a series of colorful LED displays from design studio Optical Animal, with stops including Chicago, Philly, Detroit, Washington DC, Boston, Denver, Austin, Seattle, and lots more. Philly art rockers Palm open the East Coast shows, with psych-folk singer/songwriters Meg Baird and Itasca joining the band on separate West Coast legs.
Tickets to all shows go on sale Friday, November 15 at noon local time, with various presales starting Tuesday (11/12). Real Estate have debuted several new songs on their previous US tour, including “Half a Human,” “Friday,” “Silent World,” and “In the Garden.” You can watch live videos of those songs, and view all upcoming tour dates, below.
