Supertouch (Beloved old school NYHC)
Night Birds (Awesome surf-inspired punk rock. Drummer Ryan is a Generation alum)
Joyce Manor (SoCal pop punk)
Tom Scharpling of WFMU’s Best Show
Three Chord Monte of WFMU
Zachary Lipez of Freshkills
Mikey Post of The Jay Vons/Robbers On High Street
and MORE TBA!
The store will open at 10 am (one hour earlier then usual). Bands start at 2 pm. We’ll post band and DJ set times soon.
THINGS YOU SHOULD DO:
-Get to the store EARLY. RSD is always crazy so if you want those limited edition records, we recommend getting to the store early and waiting in line. Again, we’ll be opening an hour early, 10 am.
-Stay and hang out with us all day and watch the bands and DJs.
-Buy a copy of Supertouch’s Lost My Way, which will include a limited edition cover, an exclusive for Generation on RSD. Only 60 copies will be available so pick one up!
-Buy one of our special RSD t-shirts.
THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T DO:
-Call the store asking what records we’ll be getting. We don’t know until the day. Pleading usually doesn’t work because we’ll get 40,000 calls anyways. We get it, we’re nerds too, but please don’t be one of the callers.
-Cut the line.
We hope to see you all on April 21!
