Louis CK’s I Love You Daddy release canceled, HBO severs ties after misconduct allegations

The blowback from the The New York Times‘ article on the Louis CK sexual misconduct allegations has been swift. Thursday night’s premiere of his new film I Love You Daddy was canceled just hours before it was supposed to happen and now the film’s distributor, The Orchard, has entirely canceled the release of the film, which was supposed to be out November 16. “The Orchard will not be moving forward with the release of ‘I Love You, Daddy” read a short, to-the-point statement.
