Revocation announce 'Great is Our Sin,' share first track "Communion"

Boston tech-death monsters Revocation have announced a new album and shared the first song from that album. Great is Our Sin drops on July 22 via Metal Blade, and the new song is called “Communion.” It’s the kind of turn-on-a-dime, hyper-precise-but-still-groovy death metal that these guys have essentially perfected at this point. Riffs, time signatures — they fly by with abandon. Stream that below.

Revocation are also on this year’s not half bad Summer Slaughter tour with Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Nile and a bunch of other bands. As mentioned, that beast stops in NYC for a show at Webster Hall on July 28.
