Rhyton

Rhyton releasing 'Redshift,' share "End of Ambivalence," touring

Brooklyn experimental trio Rhyton are prepping their latest LP Redshift for a July 22 release via Thrill Jockey. They’ve shared the first single from the album, called “End of Ambivalence,” and it’s a queasily engaging listen. Pulsating with a kind of controlled chaotic energy, the song winds and jitters through four minutes of uneasiness. It’s catchy while being difficult to pin down, it’s under tight control while always seeming close to skittering off the rails.

Rhyton are heading out on tour in August, and they’ll kick that off in NYC with a show at Trans Pecos on August 5. They’ll be joined at that show by John Bohannon. Ticket info TBA.
