Rich Chigga playing US festivals, including Goldrush (initial lineup)

The new Goldrush Music Festival takes place on November 18-19 at the Rawhide Western Town in Chandler, Arizona, and the initial lineup is looking pretty cool so far. The lineup is most heavy on rap and EDM, with Marshmello, Migos, Dillon Francis, Lil Uzi Vert, RL Grime, Claude VonStroke, SuperDuperKyle, Ugly God, The Underachievers, Snow tha Product, Smokepurpp, and more. Tickets are on sale now.

Also among the artists playing is rap newcomer Rich Chigga. Real name Brian Imanuel, Rich Chigga hails from Jakarta, and is one of those artists that probably would have not been possible without the existence of the internet. He got his start making comedy videos online and learned English through watching YouTube and listening to rappers like Tyler, the Creator. In 2016, comedy took a backseat when he broke through the rap community with “Dat $tick,” his debut single that has since gone viral. Now at the ripe old age of 17, Rich Chigga played his first US show at the recent Rolling Loud Fest. He has also has come out with a few other buzzed-about singles, including the recent “Gospel” with notable features from Keith Ape and XXXTentacion, and another with Rich the Kid and Young Thug. He will play Voodoo Fest and the just-announced Day N Night Fest this year too.
