Ridgewood Masonic Temple, the Beaux-Arts building at 1052 Bushwick Ave, will become an apartment building, DNA Info reports. The article says, “Another floor will be added to the four story building, and there will be about six apartments on each floor for a total of 28 apartments, according to the plans.” The building was built in 1920 and was initially used by a group of Free and Accepted Masons until the 1970s.

As show-goers in NYC may know, Todd P used to throw shows there in the late ’00s / early ’10s, including Dan Deacon, Sleigh Bells / Cults / Sundelles, Cassie Ramone as Jack White with The Intelligence / Das Racist / Pictureplane / The Beets, and more. Todd stopped throwing shows there, after alcohol sales were blocked at the venue in late 2010. The temple was also put up for sale that year but not purchased until 2014, by 1054 Bushwick Ave. LLC for $2 million.
