Riley Hawk (Tony's son) fronts a stoner rock band and they're sick (listen)

Warish

You probably already know that Tony Hawk’s son Riley Hawk is a pro skateboarder like his dad, but did you know he’s also he’s also a sick stoner rock musician? He fronts a new band called Warish and they’re set to release their self-titled debut EP on February 1 via the trusty stoner rock label RidingEasy Records (home to releases by Monolord, Here Lies Man, the great Brown Acid compilation, and more). We’re premiering lead single “Fight,” which is a dose of sludgy garage punk with truly evil vocals from Riley that are coated in just the right amount of distortion and echo. Come for the rowdy punk, stay for the slowed-down Sabbathy bridge. Listen and check out the tracklist below.
