Ringo Starr & Paul McCartney reunite on "We're On the Road Again" (listen)

Ringo Starr revealed earlier this year that he was working in the studio with his former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, and it was later announced that Paul features on several songs on Ringo’s upcoming album Give More Love (due 9/15). The first of those collaborations, “We’re On the Road Again,” is now here. It also features The Eagles’ Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, and Toto’s Steve Lukather (who co-wrote the song), and it’s, um, dated-sounding AOR about being a rock band on the road. It’s not very good, but if you’d like to hear what two Beatles members sound like on a song together in 2017, you can listen below.

Ringo is also in a rock band on the road this year, including a show at NYC’s Beacon Theatre and a few NJ shows in November (tickets).

Paul is touring too, including EIGHT NYC-area shows in September — two nights each at Prudential Center, MSG, Barclays Center, and Nassau Coliseum (tickets).
