Roc Marciano on new Hadish single, playing NYC with Meyhem Lauren

Long-running New York rapper Roc Marciano has been a go-to guy for people who miss the city’s classic ’90s era for a while now. Riding high off last year’s deservedly well-received Rosebudd’s Revenge, Roc Marci quickly followed it this year with a sequel, RR2: The Bitter Dose (featuring Action Bronson and Knowledge the Pirate). He also jumped on a new single by rising Boston rapper Hadish, who’s on a roll with impressive collaborations lately (he just released singles with Rick Ross and Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids too). The new Hadish/Roc Marciano song, “Dice Game,” is exactly the kind of classic-but-fresh East Coast sound you’d expect from a collab between these two. Over a psychedelic beat by Hadish’s frequent producer SH4MEL, both rappers wax about the unpredictabilities of life and compare it to a game of dice. That song premieres right here:

Meanwhile, Roc Marciano has a hometown show on May 3 at Highline Ballroom with DJ Muggs & Meyhem Lauren (who released the very good Gems from the Equinox last year), which is a great pairing. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Listen to RR2: The Bitter Dose, along with Hadish’s Rick Ross and Sir Michael Rocks collabs, below.
