Rockaway Beach's ROCK! AWAY! fest is this weekend with Kool Keith & more
Rockaway Beach music festival ROCK! AWAY! returns for its third year this weekend (July 12-14) with rock bands, acoustic shows, hip hop, DJs, burlesque, jazz brunch, and more at multiple venues including the Riis Park Beach Bazaar, Rippers Beach 86th Concessions, LowTide Beach 97 Concessions, Healey’s Pub, Bungalow Bar, The Rockaway Brewing Company, and more. Not that you need an excuse to get to the beach in the middle of the summer, but this is a pretty good one.
The big highlight is that Friday (7/12) at 8 PM at Rippers is abstract rap legend Kool Keith, whose anticipated new album KEITH comes out on Mello Music Group that same day.
Other acts include Ye Mighty Wave (Rob Bryn of Wild Yaks and Matt Walsh of The Forms), Blac Rabbit, Cinema Cinema, and more. Stream a few tracks from the Kool Keith album and check out the entire schedule below…
