Roky Erickson, Hank Wood, Death Valley Girls & more playing Jonathan Toubin's 2018 Haunted Hop
Jonathan Toubin is doing his New York Night Train “Haunted Hop” Halloween party again at Knockdown Center and this year it’s a pretty killer lineup: Roky Erickson, Hank Wood & The Hammerheads, Death Valley Girls and White Mystery. There’s also the “Monster Mash Room Full of Mirrors” with “12 of your favorite bands” pretending to be other bands, plus Howie Pyro’s Blood Diner and Discotheque, Gare B Scopi’s Horror Cinema, Screaming Horses Brujas Coven, Jonathan Toubin himself spinning spooky 45s with mummy go-go dancers, a costume contest, and “much more.”
Tickets for the Haunted Hop are currently on $20 early bird special.
Death Valley Girls’ tour also has them at Mercury Lounge on November 1. Hank Wood and the Hammerheads are also playing the GZA-headlined day of the Thrasher Death Match parties at Knockdown Center in October (10/5).
